Latest COVID-19 Motability update
The Government announcements regarding COVID-19 are having a major impact on the Motability Scheme. All of our retailer showrooms are now closed meaning they are unable to accept any new orders, manage handovers or car returns.
In addition, as Motability are unable to accept any new orders, they have also not updated the prices for the Motability Scheme that would normally become available on 1 April 2020. We are of course in touch with Motability and will advise when this changes.
You can also check out the latest information from Motability here →
For those customers approaching the end of their lease, Motability will automatically extend the lease for six months. There is no need to contact Motability, or your retailer, as this will be done automatically; and you will of course continue to be insured.
If you were planning to leave the Scheme at the end of your lease, please contact Motability to discuss arrangements.
Alongside the closure of showrooms, we are also closed for service and repair although we have a backbone open for emergency and key workers.
The usual roadside assistance services continue to be available should they be needed as are the insurance services (RSA Motability - RSAM).
Just as soon as we safely can we will re-open for new applications as well as arranging vehicle handovers.
We look forward to welcoming you to collect your new Skoda when the scheme gets back up and running.
It’s easy with Motability! You choose the car, we do the rest.
Heritage ŠKODA, located in Bristol, Gloucester, Weston-super-Mare, and Yeovil, is the leading provider of ŠKODA Motability cars across Gloucestershire, Somerset & Dorset. The mobility cars scheme enables disabled people to become independent by helping recipients of mobility allowances who qualify for Motability to exchange their entitlement to lease a new ŠKODA Motability car.
Motability is a national charity, set up on the initiative of the Government in 1977, to assist disabled people with their mobility needs simply by using their government-funded mobility allowances. If you receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement, getting a new car is easier and more affordable than ever. Through Motability, you simply turn part or all of your allowance into the ŠKODA of your choice. Many Motability car deals include a choice of special Motability Adaptions, many at no extra cost, and also with no advance payment.
Popular ŠKODA Motability Cars
Among the more popular ŠKODA Motability cars are the ŠKODA KODIAQ ŠKODA Yeti, ŠKODA Superb and ŠKODA Octavia Motability Cars.
